Marc Morano on Biden Energy Agenda: 'Exact Opposite of Anything in the Interest of American National Security'

Climate Depot founder Marc Morano spoke out against President Joe Biden’s decisions to slow down American energy production while potentially easing energy sanctions on the Islamic Republic of Iran. On the April 22 edition of Fox Business’ The Evening Edit‚ anchor Elizabeth MacDonald told Morano that a recent foreign aid bill passed by Congress includes “fine print” suggesting that Biden doesn’t have to enforce sanctions on Iranian oil. “What do you think of that fine print there&;#63;” MacDonald asked. Morano responded by blasting the administration for putting Americans last. “The fine print is just‚ I hate to say it‚ ‘Screw America‚’ once again from this administration‚ especially on energy. They begged Venezuela‚ the Middle East for more and more oil‚ at the same time restricting our domestic energy‚” Morano said. “When you look at what he's trying to do‚ you have to wonder‚ this is the exact opposite of anything in the interest of the United States national security.”  Morano went on to say that these awful decisions would have to come from people blinded by an “ideology that believes shutting down American energy … somehow benefits the world.” Later in the interview‚ MacDonald played a clip of Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) making a similar point about Biden’s Alaska drilling restrictions on the April 21 edition of CBS News’s Face the Nation.  “This president won't sanction the Iranian oil and gas regime … but he has no problem sanctioning Alaska‚” Sullivan decried. The senator pointed out the extent of Biden’s anti-energy push in his state: “This administration has issued 63 executive orders and executive actions singularly focused on Alaska to shut our state down.” Sullivan added that this decision would not only hurt Alaskans who benefit from the industry but would also hurt all Americans. Beyond Biden “putting off limits thirteen million acres of land in Alaska” for oil drilling—as MacDonald said—he has also halted future liquified natural gas projects. Additionally‚ Biden reversed a number of former President Donald Trump’s pro-energy policies shortly after taking office. Among other things‚ Biden rescinded the approval of the Keystone pipeline and put restrictions on the use of public land for energy extraction. He has been critical of the oil and gas sector for allegedly not making new investments while simultaneously demonstrating his leftist intent to phase out the industry through his actions and statements.  Conservatives are under attack&;#33; Contact ABC News at 818-460-7477‚ CBS News at 212-975-3247 and NBC News at 212-664-6192 and demand they hold Biden and his cronies accountable for attempting to restrict fossil fuel production and Americans’ choices.

Papua New Guinea's prime minister hits back at Biden for suggesting cannibals ate his uncle

Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape is hitting back at President Joe Biden.Last week‚ Biden suggested that his uncle‚ World War II veteran Ambrose J. Finnegan‚ was eaten by cannibals in New Guinea after crashing into the Pacific Ocean in May 1944. It's true that Finnegan's body was never recovered‚ but there is no evidence that cannibals ate him. — (@) In a statement‚ Marape condemned Biden for having &;quot;appeared to imply his uncle was eaten by cannibals.&;quot;&;quot;President Biden's remarks may have been a slip of the tongue; however‚ my country does not deserve to be labeled as such‚&;quot; Marape said. &;quot;World War II was not the doing of my people; however‚ they were needlessly dragged into a conflict that was not their doing.&;quot;Additionally‚ Marape said the U.S. needs to recover from Papua New Guinea the remains of dead Americans and help remove WWII debris from the island.&;quot; The remains of WWII lie scattered all over PNG‚ including the plane that carried President Biden's uncle‚&;quot; Marape said. &;quot;Perhaps‚ given President Biden's comments and the strong reaction from PNG and other parts of the world‚ it is time for the USA to find as many remains of World War II in PNG as possible‚ including those of servicemen who lost their lives like Ambrose Finnegan.&;quot;&;quot; The theaters of war in PNG and Solomon Islands are many‚ and littered with the remains of WWII including human remains‚ plane wrecks‚ ship wrecks‚ tunnels and bombs‚&;quot; he added. &;quot; Our people daily live with the fear of being killed by detonated bombs of WWII.&;quot;Last week‚ the White House was pressed multiple times about Biden's statement‚ but officials refused to explain its inaccuracies. For example‚ White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre did not say why Biden invoked cannibals and refused to say why Biden falsely claimed his uncle's plane was &;quot;shot down&;quot; when‚ in fact‚ the plane he was flying in crashed after both engines in the plane failed‚ according to the Pentagon. The White House simply ignored those questions‚ said Biden is proud of his uncle's service‚ and used the moment to slam Donald Trump.Like Blaze News&;#63; Bypass the censors‚ sign up for our newsletters‚ and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Glenn Beck / RFK Jr. interview going viral — especially the part when Kennedy says how Fauci avoided jail time ...

Last week‚ Glenn Beck sat down with independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for an extensive interview. The duo broached a wide range of subjects‚ including the World Economic Forum‚ NATO‚ the conflicts in Russia/Ukraine and Israel/Gaza‚ climate change‚ and of course‚ Big Pharma — which Kennedy has been incredibly outspoken about. On that subject‚ Kennedy was quick to bring up the absurdity of how COVID-19 was handled‚ starting with Donald Trump. “During COVID ... President Trump got rolled by his bureaucrats‚ and he came in saying‚ ‘I’m a businessman‚ I’m gonna run this place like a business‚' [so] he gave the keys to all of our shops and stores and businesses to Tony Fauci and shut down 3.3 million businesses‚” he told Glenn. Glenn agreed wholeheartedly and followed with a question we all want answered: “What do you do to restore the trust [in the medical industry]&;#63;” “What we now know because of the Wuhan lab ... [is] they’re messing with Ebola and they’re messing with Chikungunya and all of these really horrific diseases ... with 50%‚ 20%‚ 10% [mortality rates]‚” he told Glenn‚ adding that “of course some of them escape every year.” Who’s behind this atrocity&;#63; If you guessed Anthony Fauci‚ you’re correct. Kennedy explained that when the Patriot Act was passed‚ it mandated “that any federal officer or employee who violates [the Geneva Convention or the 1973 Bioweapons Convention] cannot be prosecuted.” “That relaunched the bioweapons arms race‚” he said. The Pentagon “started redirecting all that money to Anthony Fauci to do bioweapons research.” “So‚ why isn’t he in jail&;#63;” Glenn asked. “He’s not in jail because Joe Biden is president‚” was Kennedy’s frank answer. That honesty perked up the ears of news outlets such as the New York Post and the Daily Mail‚ which published articles covering Glenn and Kennedy’s candid conversation. Scientific American pushes claims that science-based critiques of gender ideology are 'misinformation‚' 'violence'

Scientific American pushes claims that science-based critiques of gender ideology are 'misinformation‚' 'violence'

Gender ideologues have the Biden administration and multitudes of Democratic lawmakers across the country dutifully advancing their agenda and victimizing multitudes of Americans‚ but apparently that's not enough. They also appear keen to have the broader public buy into their narrative around sex‚ genital mutilations‚ and transgenderism. In an effort to overcome or at the very least sidestep the common citizen's common sense‚ social constructivists have in recent decades attempted to mask their reality-defying philosophy in the language of science. The trouble with this effort is that when exposed to actual scientific scrutiny‚ their claims have altogether failed to hold water. That has become especially clear in recent months where even Britain's National Health Service has pumped the brakes on so-called &;quot;gender-affirming care.&;quot; Faced with the collapse of their narrative‚ ideologues have worked to villainize critics and to reframe the debate about gender. On Friday‚ one such attempt was made in the pages of Scientific American‚ a 178-year-old science magazine published by the German-British Springer Nature Group. Scientific American published an interview that originally appeared in OpenMind Magazine — former Discover magazine editor in chief Corey Powell's outlet that supposedly tackles &;quot;disinformation&;quot; in science. The interview‚ originally made possible by a grant from the Pulitzer Center's aptly titled &;quot;Truth Decay&;quot; initiative‚ comprises an engagement between Powell and two transvestites‚ both of whom are self-identified activists: a French-Canadian man who calls himself Florence Ashley and describes himself as a &;quot;transfeminine activist‚ academic‚ and slut&;quot;; and Simon Dow-Kuang Sun‚ a senior fellow at the Center for Applied Transgender Studies in Chicago. Blaze News previously reported that Ashley‚ an assistant professor at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in Canada‚ wrote that where confused kids are concerned‚ &;quot;Unbounded social transition and ready access to puberty blockers ought to be treated as the default option‚ and support should be offered to parents who may have difficulty accepting their youth.&;quot; He claimed in an article for the leftist blog Truthout that efforts to protect children from irreversible puberty blockers‚ genital mutilations‚ and LGBT propaganda are &;quot;rooted in racism and white supremacy.&;quot; Ashley has also called for the decriminalization of rape by fraud‚ particularly in cases in which a transvestite has sex with a victim without indicating he isn't actually a woman as advertised. Sun‚ unlike Ashley‚ actually has credentials as a scientist and has studied neuroplasticity. However‚ the credibility of his scientific declarations concerning gender ideology may not altogether be scientific. In an article he co-authored last year with Ashley‚ Sun declared there is &;quot;no such thing as a male or female brain.&;quot; Just months later‚ a study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science revealed that a group of Stanford Medicine researchers identified &;quot;highly replicable‚ generalizable‚ and behaviorally relevant sex differences in human functional brain organization localized to the default mode network‚ striatum‚ and limbic network.&;quot; The framing of the interview in Scientific American made clear that science would be taking a back seat and that the aim was political. Powell's interview is prefaced with the following statement: &;quot; In 2023 alone‚ more than 500 anti-trans bills were proposed or adopted in nearly every state in the United States‚ targeting everything from drag performances to gender-affirming medical care to school inclusion policies for trans people. Support for these measures has been enabled and propelled by scientific misinformation‚ which has proven to be a distressingly effective tool in outraging a public that might otherwise be broadly empathetic‚ or at least uncertain about where to stand.&;quot; After recycling the suggestion that the science informing legislation against sex change mutilations is &;quot;disinformation‚&;quot; Scientific American recirculated the suggestion by Sun that the notion there are &;quot;just two sexes&;quot; — characterized in the piece as &;quot;sex essentialism&;quot; — is &;quot;completely wrong about the biology of how sex characteristics arise.&;quot; &;quot; The error is simply that the gametes are a determining factor of sex — that once you know what gametes a person produces‚ that's their sex and nothing about it can change‚&;quot; claimed Sun. &;quot; But biology is a dynamic system where an organism starts in a particular state and grows through life and through development with multiple systems interacting. That is‚ more precisely‚ how sex works. Sex essentialism boils all that down to one‚ immutable characteristic to preclude transness as a biological phenomenon.&;quot; Ashley chimed in‚ saying‚ &;quot; The people who use ideas about biological sex against trans people are first appealing to the idea of biology as a description of difference‚ but then they do a jump and use that conception of biology as a form of meaning. The thing is‚ we organize society around meaning‚ not difference. Biology at its core can't tell you what matters to human organizations.&;quot; &;quot; We should really be asking what we care about‚ and then look to see if biology has anything to say about it. If you go through that exercise‚ then you realize that biology really has very little‚ if not virtually nothing‚ to say about things like trans rights‚&;quot; added Ashley. The Canadian activist went on to intimate that when a scientist interprets empirical results in a way that hurts the transgender narrative‚ he or she is committing &;quot;epistemological violence.&;quot; &;quot;Epistemological violence occurs when a researcher or somebody else interprets empirical results in a way that devalues‚ pathologizes‚ or harms a marginalized group‚ even though there are equally good or better explanations for the same data‚&;quot; said Ashley. Ashley then noted in the interview‚ &;quot; We should try to interpret the data in a way that's compatible with their inclusion and well-being‚ if that's an equally good interpretation.&;quot; The interview concluded with a call for shutting down undesirable speech. &;quot;Shut down misinformation and hate when you see it crop up around you‚&;quot; Ashley told Powell. &;quot;Oftentimes we don't like confrontation‚ so we just let misinformation go. We need people to start speaking up whenever it comes up. And be loud. We’re in an ecosystem where the anti-trans voices are trying to portray themselves as speaking for a silent majority. We need people to be loud enough to counter any impression of a silent majority. While Scientific American claims it is &;quot;committed to sharing trustworthy knowledge&;quot; and &;quot;enhancing our understanding‚&;quot; it has also indicated it is committed to &;quot;advancing social justice.&;quot; It appears these commitments are not equally weighted. Judge‚ Trump’s attorney get into heated exchange over gag order — prosecution’s first witness returns to stand

During the second day of trial this week‚ Donald Trump’s attorney and the judge had a somewhat heated exchange over the gag order placed against the former president‚ according to reports.Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecutors have accused Trump of violating acting Justice Juan Merchan’s gag order‚ which prohibits him from making public statements about anyone involved in the trial and their family members. On Tuesday‚ the trial began with a hearing on the alleged violations. Prosecutor Chris Conroy pushed Merchan to hold Trump in contempt and order him to pay a $1‚000 fine for 10 social media posts that he claimed “pose a very real threat” to the court’s proceedings. In one of the Truth Social posts‚ Trump mentions “two sleazebags‚” which the prosecution argued is a reference to Trump’s former attorney‚ Michael Cohen‚ and porn actress Stormy Daniels. Conroy claimed that Trump’s comments attacked the witnesses’ “credibility.”“Going after Michael Cohen is a recurring theme in these posts‚” Conroy stated. The defense maintained that Trump did not violate the gag order and that any comments made were in response to attacks.Conroy claimed that Trump’s legal team attempted to “muddy the waters.”“There is no provision in this order for responding to attacks‚” he added. In addition to holding Trump in contempt and imposing fines‚ prosecutors are asking the judge to order him to remove the 10 posts.Trump’s attorney‚ Todd Blanche‚ reasoned that the social media comments “were in direct response” to statements made by Daniels and Cohen. Blanche and Merchan got into a tense back and forth over whether the posts were political or about the trial.“President Trump is allowed to respond to political attacks‚” Blanche told Merchan. The judge asked Blanche to pinpoint specific comments made by Cohen and Daniels that Trump was replying to in his social media posts. Blanche responded by stating he was referring to general and repeated remarks‚ claiming the two witnesses had recently “ramped up their political attacks and their attacks on him as a candidate as well.”“What I do see is‚ I keep asking you over and over again for a specific answer‚ and I’m not getting an answer‚” Merchan told Blanche. “I’ve asked you eight or nine times to show me the exact post he was responding to. You’ve been unable to do that even once.”At one point‚ Merchan told Blanche he was “losing all credibility with the court.”Blanche stated that Trump is “being very careful to comply” with the judge’s gag order. After a break‚ the trial continued by welcoming the prosecution’s first witness‚ David Pecker‚ back to the stand. Pecker‚ the former publisher at National Enquirer‚ claimed he was part of a “catch and kill” scheme with Cohen to purchase the rights to unfavorable stories about Trump and never publish them. “If there was any rumors in the marketplace about Mr. Trump or his family or any negative stories that were coming out or things that I heard overall that I would go through‚ I would call Michael Cohen directly‚” Pecker testified.Pecker claimed he was asked by Trump and Cohen what the National Enquirer could do to help the 2016 presidential campaign.“What I would do is I would run or publish positive stories about Mr. Trump‚ and I would publish negative stories about his opponents‚ and I said that I would also … be eyes and ears. I said I would be your eyes and ears‚” he stated.Prosecutor Joshua Steinglass asked Pecker whether purchasing the rights to stories that the media outlet never ended up publishing was helpful to the National Enquirer; he replied‚ “No.”He claimed there was no written agreement with Trump about the alleged arrangement because “it was just an agreement among friends.”One of the stories Pecker purchased was from a former Trump Tower doorman‚ who claimed Trump had fathered a child out of wedlock. Pecker gave the man $30‚000 for the exclusive rights to the story despite Cohen telling him the rumor was “absolutely not true‚” according to Pecker’s testimony. If the story turned out to be accurate‚ Pecker said he had plans to publish it after the election‚ claiming it would have “been very embarrassing to the campaign.”Pecker said he discovered that the story “was absolutely 1‚000% untrue.”During an interview on Real America’s Voice on Monday evening‚ Trump stated‚ “That jury was picked so fast‚ 95% Democrats‚ the area’s all‚ mostly all Democrats. You think of it as a‚ just a purely Democrat area. It’s a very unfair situation.”Like Blaze News&;#63; Bypass the censors‚ sign up for our newsletters‚ and get stories like this direct to your inbox.
