“I Put My 8-Year-Old In Charge And This Is What He Did”

After putting their 8-year-old in charge for the day, these parents began questioning their life choices. The day starts with Dad, Dallin, waking George and telling him that he is in charge, and they will do whatever he decides. George immediately started spouting out directions for a pizza guessing game. First, Dallen needed to order a bunch of pizzas from different restaurants. George would be blindfolded, and they would hand him a piece from each pie, and he would guess where the pizza was from. Although apprehensive, both parents agreed to the pizza guessing game. It did sound like fun. It turns out, George is a pizza-guessing pro. With a stack of pizzas on the counter, Mom blindfolded George. Ashley was in charge of handing the slices of pie to George while Dallen was behind the camera. Like a professional food critic, George assessed the first piece. “OK, small, am I holding the crust?” Mom answered. “Yeah.” George took a bite, chewing and savoring the taste. Like a true connoisseur, he said, “My guess… well I definitely taste some olive in there. Olive Garden?” The first guess was spot on, and George was winning the pizza guessing game. When they put the second box next to George, before it was even open, he says, “Oh wait, I know that smell.” Repeating the sampling, George describes the slice of pizza. Before tasting it, he guesses Domino’s. It was at this point that Dallen began reflecting on life choices. The taste test confirmed it for George, and he locked in on Domino’s. The game continued, with Ashley handing George each slice. Both parents watched the boy carefully assess the size, shape, and texture of each piece of pizza. He correctly guessed the origin of each pie. What a fun memory this will be! Please share. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here.
