Major Home Décor Retailer To Close All Stores And Convert Them To Bed Bath & Beyond

When Bed Bath & Beyond announced bankruptcy and closed all of its brick-and-mortar locations in 2023, many thought it was the beginning of the end. The retailer rose from the ashes as an online shopping destination after Overstock.com’s acquisition, and the business adopted the name for its parent company. In August 2025, the first Bed Bath & Beyond retail location opened in Nashville, giving hope to many true-blue coupon fans. It seems that was just the beginning. Bed Bath & Beyond recently announced that all Kirkland’s Home stores will be converted to Bed Bath & Beyond locations. Kirkland’s Home design and product development will expand through both Bed Bath & Beyond Home stores and the wholesale market, and I have full confidence in Amy Sullivan and her team to drive this growth.” The news of Kirkland’s Home closing and Bed Bath & Beyond taking its place made many people melancholy. “I LOVE Kirklands and I’m worried this rebrand will take away everything I LOVE about Kirklands…I personally never cared for bed bath and beyond…I mean honestly isn’t it obvious no one else did since they closed all their stores!?! Please don’t let this be the death of Kirklands! So many of my favorite decor pieces have come from Kirklands,” someone shared on Instagram. But others look forward to a change. “This is exciting. I love Kirkland. But it would be cool to have some of items that BBB had like towels and appliances,” another person wrote.
