Wild High-Speed Motorcycle Pursuit Ends In Horrific Crash, Suspect Wanted In Connection To Shooting Of Sheriff’s Deputy
A high-speed motorcycle pursuit on a California highway ended violently after a vehicle rammed into the suspect, causing him to crash.
The suspect was wanted in connection with the shooting of a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy.

NBC4 Los Angeles shared details:
The shooting was reported at about midday in the 12300 block of Hollyhock Drive. As deputies approached the residence, they were fired upon and one deputy was struck by gunfire, the department said.
The man then left the property on a motorcycle and a pursuit ensued on the 210 Freeway. The motorcyclist struck the side of another vehicle near Campus Avenue and was thrown from the bike.
Firefighter-paramedics appeared to be speaking with the man on the side of the freeway. A medical helicopter landed on the freeway to transport him to a hospital.

“At about 12:37, deputies were dispatched to the 12300 block of Hollyhock, in RC for an armed Hispanic male threatening a female. At 12:42 p.m., deputies arrived and were immediately shot at by the suspect. One deputy was struck and was airlifted to a hospital,” the San Bernardino County Sheriff stated.
“The suspect fled the location on a motorcycle and was pursued along the eastbound 210-freeway. At about 1:35 p.m., after a highspeed pursuit, the suspect crashed at Campus Avenue. He was taken into custody and transported to a hospital with injuries. We will provide another update at a later time,” it added.

ABC7 Los Angeles noted:
All eastbound lanes were shut down and a SigAlert was issued between Mountain and Campus avenues.
AIR7 video showed traffic backed up for miles as the traffic was at a standstill during peak rush hour traffic at 3 p.m.. There is major police presence at the scene.
Traffic was being diverted off of Mountain Avenue.
The chase started in Rancho Cucamonga at around 1:20 p.m. It started on the same street where a but it is unclear whether both incidents are connected.
The suspect appeared to pull out a gun and waving it as he was driving down the freeway at high speeds of 150 mph.
At one point, a sedan clipped the motorcycle as it attempted to change lanes. That’s when the suspect was launched into the air and landed on the road.
Officers quickly ran out of their patrol cars and rushed to handcuff him.
The suspect was sitting up and conscious as authorities rendered aid. He was airlifted to an area hospital.
