I mean, duh… This week, People has been rolling out some of the “Sexiest Man” titles ahead of revealing the official winner sometime next week, but they always do tons of other subcategories too. This year, the Reader’s Choice poll is divided into various categories, including “Who is the Sexiest 40-Year-Old,” in honor of the Sexiest Man Alive issue turning 40 this year, “Who is the Sexiest Cat Dad,” “Who has the Sexiest Tattoos,” and more. While there were fourteen categories in total that People readers can cast votes in, there is a specific poll dedicated to the country boys in country music, as there should be in my humble opinion. Nominated in the “Sexiest Country Star” category this year is Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Shaboozey, and Warren Zeiders, and your 2025 “Sexiest Country Star” has officially been named… and it went to Riley Green, of course. I don’t think anyone in the world will be surprised by that… Riley is a fan-favorite among the ladies for his obvious good looks and down home southern charm, in addition to his great music, and you’ll often see his name in the headlines for any number of items from regular bras to sticky bras and even other undergarments getting thrown onstage at him… so yeah, I think this was pretty much a given. The only country artist to be outright named People’s official “Sexiest Man Alive,” though, is Blake Shelton, who received the title in 2017. He gets roasted for it pretty much every year when this competition comes around, and so I think he’d probably be glad to share that title with another country artist one day so people might finally move on. Last year, People named the sexiest man at every age, curating a list of men who were sexy from age 20 to 41. Some of the men who made the list include Warren Zeiders at age 25, Noah Kahan at age 27, Hunter Hayes at age 33, and Michael Che at age 41; however, Luke Combs took home the gold at age 34. Combs had a great attitude about it, and even if he still finds it funny that he won, I have to imagine you’d be at least a little bit flattered. It’s certainly not the worst kind of award to win. But with Riley being nominated this year, I don’t think any of us thought the outcome would be any different.
