Gavin Adcock Falls Off Stage & Hardly Misses A Beat While Performing “Deep End” During Winnipeg Show
He’s off the deep end… of the stage.
Falling on, or in this case, off the stage, I feel like, is a rite of passage as a musician. It’s one of those moments you can either lean into and laugh at yourself and the audience, or you can become embarrassed and become small the rest of the performance. Most artists can recover, though, and not miss a beat, and if they can’t, they can at least crack a good joke or two about the moment after the fact.
This year, we’ve seen quite a few tumbles on stage. One of the most insane falls of the year, in my opinion, came from a Post Malone show when he leaned down to cheer a fan, leading him to take a nasty tumble.
@koty_sage I am SO sorry Austin. I love you! Such an amazing show @Post Malone #postmalone #glendaleaz ♬ original sound – Kota
Post bounced back up after this fall, which is really all you can do in a moment like that, as long as the artist did not sustain any serious injury. But Posty is not the only artist who has taken a tumble into the space between the crowd and the stage, because Gavin Adcock pulled a similar move during a show at the Burton Cummings Theatre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Adcock was in the middle of performing “Deep End” (ironic, right?) when it appeared that he was trying to walk over to a side portion of the stage. Adcock was watching where his feet were going, and it’s hard to tell whether he was trying to step onto this side piece or to walk down to get closer to the crowd.
However, despite his best efforts not to take a misstep, Adcock failed and came crashing down. It appears that Adcock hit his head in some capacity, leading his cowboy hat to fall off. But Adcock did not let the fall jar him, and he kept going like a champ. He literally fell off the “Deep End”…
@kamil9413 @GavinAdcockMusic hope you’re good after that fall, few too many #concerts #country #foryou #winnipeg #gavinadcock ♬ original sound – kamil9413
Thankfully, it doesn’t look like Adcock will be left with more than a bruise from this, and his ego doesn’t seem to have been hit as he replied to the post:
“It happens ”
This isn’t Adcock’s first fall on stage, and I doubt it will be his last. Adcock once shared another clip of him absolutely biting the dust from slipping on stage and joked that no one can recover from a fall like his.
This clip from his Winnipeg proves that he is the king of a quick recovery, that’s for sure.
