Motorcycle club works with fundraiser to put meals on tables
NEW LONDON, Mo. (WGEM) – The Brotherhood of SouthSiders, or B.O.S.S., a motorcycle club in New London, has banded together in an effort to combat the overflow of families in need.
The Ralls County Food Pantry and the Hannibal Nutrition Center has been in need of resources to help provide meals for local families since the government shutdown began. That is where the B.O.S.S. Motorcycle Club has taken action to raise money as well as food supplies and other items that can be donated to help families during these holiday months.
Jason Stewart, president of the brotherhood, said through word-of-mouth advertising they have been able to not only get local individuals who are looking to help out with making the holidays special, but have also received donations for over $1,000 each by the Hannibal Crane Service as well as Golden Eagle Distributing.
