Having announced Edenridge’s return to the Steamhammer/SPV imprint, band leaders Arne “Lanvall” Stockhammer (guitar/keyboards) and Sabine Edelsbacher (vocals), say the band will release “Set The Dark On Fire,” on January 16th, 2026. Beginning in September Edenridge will issue three singles prior to the album’s release: “Cosmic Embrace” (September 19th), “Where The Wild Things Are” (November 7th) and the title track, “Set The Dark On Fire” (December 12th). The Symphonic Metal band released three albums through Steamhammer/SPV (“The Bonding,” “The Great Momentum” and “Dynamind”) before issuing “Shangri-La,” it’s eleventh studio effort, on the AFM label in 2022. “Due to the organizational restructuring of our previous label, we found ourselves without a contract and promptly received an offer from (label manager) Olly Hahn that proves Steamhammer’s faith in us and builds on our successful collaboration between 2013 and 2021,” Lanvall commented.
