In Lightyear, Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear leads a mission to escape a hostile planet after a mistake of his leaves his crew stranded. Attempting to perfect hyperspace travel to get them home, Buzz accidentally time-travels decades into the future, where he encounters a group of eager recruits and a robotic cat companion, Sox.
