Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, otherwise known as 21 Savage, was born on October 22, 1992, in Plaistow, London, England. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia, with his mother at age seven and was raised in the city’s east side. 21 Savage began his music career in Atlanta, releasing his debut single “Picky” in 2014. In 2015, he released the mixtape The Slaughter Tape, which was followed by the collaborative EP Free Guwop with Sonny Digital. Later that year, he released the EP Slaughter King. His breakthrough arrived in 2016 with the EP Savage Mode, a collaboration with producer Metro Boomin.
