Human remains discovered in wooded area in Clark County; Deputies investigating

Deputies and Springfield police were called around 11:30 a.m. to a wooded area near South Limestone Street and I-70. A 911 caller reported finding a duffle bag that appeared to contain bones.
“I found some human remains. I fished this duffel bag out of bottom of the culvert there and I cut it open with a knife, there’s a human skull in there and a bunch of other bones,” an anonymous caller reported to dispatchers in a non-emergency phone call obtained in a public records request by News Center 7."
