KISS Co-Founder Ace Frehley Dies
Founding KISS member Ace Frehley has died after being injured in a fall last month. He was 74.
KISS members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons said: “We are devastated by the passing of Ace Frehley. He was an essential and irreplaceable Rock soldier during some of the most formative foundational chapters of the band and its history. He is and will always be a part of KISS’s legacy.”
In a separate statement, drummer Peter Criss wrote: “With a broken heart and deep, deep sadness, my brother Ace Frehley has passed away.”
KISS & Ace Frehley
Frehley was the band’s lead guitarist from 1973–1982, 1996–2002. He also released eight solo albums with the last being last year’s “10 ,000 Volts.”
