Poppy will release her seventh album, “Empty Hands,” featuring the single “Bruised Sky,” on January 23rd. “Bruised Sky” was co-written by longtime collaborator Jordan Fish with the music video directed by Orie McGinness. “Empty Hands” features 13 tracks that were produced by Fish, who previously worked with Poppy on her sixth album “Negative Spaces” (2004). Empty Hands Bruised Sky Poppy’s “Bloodmoney” received a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance (2021), making Poppy the first solo female artist to be nominated in the category.
