11/22 Fiver Finger Death Punch/Babymetal Rule
With “The End” Five Finger Death Punch land their 17th #1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart while Babymetal, who is featured on the track, is the first Japanese act to top the survey.
“The End” is FFDP’s thirteenth #1 in a row on Mainstream Rock and the band now has the lengthiest streak in the survey’s four-decade history.
The run began in ’18 with “Sham Pain” and includes last summer’s one-week reign of “I Refuse,” featuring In This Moment’s Maria Brink. FFDP are only behind Shinedown and Three Days Grace for the most #1s on the chart.
“The End” previously reached #1 on the Japanese iTunes Metal chart and was the first song featuring Japanese lyrics to chart on U.S. Rock radio.
