Reinfeldt on Trump: "The World's Most Dangerous Man"

Foreign. Donald Trump poses a greater threat than Vladimir Putin and all the other people on earth. This is what Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt (M) told SVT.
In an appearance in the SVT program Foreign Office, Fredrik Reinfeldt – known for his immigration and for dismantling the defense – is going to a furious attack on US President Donald Trump.
According to Reinfeldt, it is Trump's actions -- or lack of action -- that give Russian President Vladimir Putin a dangerous room for manoeuvre.
"It is through Trump's actions that Putin is given the space that then potentially threatens us," Reinfeldt said.
Trump was sworn in with promises of "America First" and to avoid new wars. A year later, Reinfeldt points to a development in which the US president wants to rule Venezuela, take control of Greenland and has threatened attacks on Iran.
In a letter from Trump to Norway's Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, published earlier this week, the president writes that he no longer feels any responsibility to think solely of peace.
Reinfeldt describes Trump as a war president, like his predecessors.
Because they have a military capability that no one else has on Earth. In that sense, he resembles all his predecessors who have existed in modern times. It's absolutely a war president," he said.
At the same time, Reinfeldt goes further and believes that Sweden should see Trump as a bigger threat than Putin.
“I have long called Donald Trump the most dangerous man in the world. And that's because his power of destruction is based on a country that should know better. He also has in his power to limit Vladimir Putin in a way that he does not use," Reinfeldt said.
