Bruce Springsteen’s “Streets Of Minneapolis” debuts at #1 on Billboard‘s Digital Song Sales chart (dated 2/7). It is Springsteen’s first #1 on the all-format Digital Song Sales survey, which began in 2004, Springsteen wrote and recorded the anti-ICE (United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement) song following the January deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis during Operation Metro Surge with undocumented immigrants targeted and apprehended by ICE. But the Surge has also entangled and terrorized U.S. citizens and legal immigrants.
