First, the Seattle Seahawks won Sunday’s Super Bowl XL 29-23 over the New England Patriots. Despite Trump calling Bad Bunny’s halftime show “the worst EVER!, the much-ballyhooed performance was very entertaining and non-controversial, highlighting Bad Bunny’s Puerto Rican heritage. Meanwhile, the alternative MAGA/Turning Point’s “The All-American Halftime Show.” led by Kid Rock, was about as dynamic as the Patriots offense… Green Day opened the Super Bowl pregame with frontman Billy Joe Armstrong singing a snippet of “Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)” before the band launched into a medley of “Holiday, “Boulevard Of Broken Dreams” and “American Idiot.” All three songs were from the band’s ’05 classic album, “American Idiot.” Green Day’s Performance: Watch on YoutTbe The best commercial was Budweiser’s ad featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird.” The “Good Will Dunkin'” ad was pretty clever but Bon Jovi’s appearance in a State Farm clip was inconsequential.
