Canada's Carney touts 'positive' talk with Trump after border bridge threat

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on Tuesday stated that he had had a "positive" conversation with President Donald Trump in the wake of a tense exchange that saw the American leader threatening to block the opening of a bridge between the two nations. Trump previously threatened to prevent the opening of the Gordie Howe International Bridge that will connect Detroit, Mich., to Windsor, Ontario, The Hill reported.
