John Fetterman played a decisive role in a Republican win on Thursday, when a razor-thin 8–7 vote in the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee advanced the nomination of Oklahoma Sen. Markwayne Mullin to serve as the next secretary of Homeland Security.
