FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ’S):
Do I have to use sour cream? You can use a can of cream of chicken soup or plain Greek yogurt in place of the sour cream if desired. What chicken should I use? I used rotisserie chicken but you can use any cooked chicken you have on hand. this can even be made with leftover turkey. Can I add anything else to this bubble up casserole? Sure‚ I think this is easy to bulk out this meal. You can add 12 ounces of your favorite frozen veggies for a more balanced meal. What could I serve with this casserole? I usually serve it with a salad or some steamed vegetables. How do I store Chicken Bacon Ranch Bubble Up? Keep leftovers in the fridge for 3 days‚ or you can transfer it a freezer safe container for up to 3 months. To reheat I would do so in the oven covered with foil so it doesn’t dry out.
INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE)
diced cooked chicken – I used a rotisserie chicken but you could use the bagged refrigerated cooked chicken pieces usually kept near the other deli meats or even the frozen cooked chicken (just make sure it is defrosted first).
sour cream – see my FAQ’s above for substitutions.
ranch dressing – you are using prepared ranch dressing‚ not ranch dressing seasoning. I have a delicious homemade ranch dressing here on the site.
cooked bacon – you can use the store bought bacon pieces in a bag if you don’t want to cook up bacon just to make this.
shredded cheddar cheese – I freshly shredded it myself but you can certainly just use the pre-shredded bagged cheese.
Pillsbury Grands homestyle biscuits – you need a total of 10 biscuits for this recipe. I just use a couple of the small cans since it works out perfect.

Notes
Please refer to my FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions) and ingredient list above for other substitutions or for the answers to the most common questions.
I always add a little dried or fresh chopped parsley to my casserole dishes so you’ll see it on a lot of my recipes. It is absolutely not essential to taste‚ I just like to make it look a little nicer with a bit of green.Â
