FOREIGN. US Vice President Kamala Harris is set to take over the presidency. She announces this in connection with the heated discussions about Joe Biden's mental health.
Joe Biden's many frogs lately have received a lot of attention in the media. Likewise, a special investigator's report describing the president as "a well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory."
A recent survey also shows that a whopping 86 percent of Americans believe that Biden is too old to be president for another term.
On Monday , the Wall Street Journal published an interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, who was asked about Biden's apparently faltering mental health.
She states that she is "ready to serve" as president.
- There is no doubt about it, she continues firmly.
The vice president further states that people who have observed her job performance are "fully aware" of her "leadership ability."
Kamala Harris personifies a desirable mix of diversity and became the first female, black and Indian-American vice president in the history of the United States. Her husband is a well-known lawyer and Jewish activist.
