Talks started - temporary ceasefire

FOREIGN. Negotiations have begun between Ukraine and Russia's delegations that met at the Belarusian border, reports Russian Tass.


According to Reuters, the weapons have been temporarily silenced in Ukraine while negotiations are ongoing.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will be in charge of keeping all Belarusian planes and helicopters on the ground during the meeting and during the Ukrainian delegation's travel to and from the border.

Ukraine "will not capitulate" during the negotiations nor "give up a single inch of our territory", said the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, ahead of the meeting.
