DJ Ashba (Sixx: A‚M/Guns N’ Roses) recently legally changed his name to ‘Ashba’. Ashba’s real first name is Daren. His mother’s second marriage was to a man who had four kids already‚ and one was named Daren. To avoid confusion the guitarist became DJ. “I never chose to be called DJ‚ in fact it’s more of a curse being a guitar player‚” shared Ashba. “Everybody thought I was a ‘DJ‚’ and I still get asked if I’m a DJ.” He is now ‘Ashba’ and he will answer to ‘Ash’.
