Part 2
Goose liver, oysters and gender freedom
In his speech, Putin accuses the West of wanting to "destroy" and "dismantle" Russia, and claims that there are "traitors" in the country who identify more with the West than with their homeland.
Not least, the president gives a boot to what appear to be the Russian oligarchs and the Russian economic elite. People he thinks belong to a "higher caste".
- I do not judge at all those who have a villa in Miami or on the French Riviera, and who can not do without goose liver, oysters and gender freedom, Putin says sarcastically.
- The problems do not lie there but, and I repeat, in that many of these people, by their nature, mentally live there and not here. Not with us. Not with Russia.

"Everything is a lie"
In his speech, Vladimir Putin also addresses the people of the Western world. He urges them to be observant of how Western leaders act.
- They have chosen economic, financial and trade sanctions against Russia as weapons. This, by the way, is affecting Europeans and Americans themselves with rising prices for fuel, energy, food and lost jobs linked to the Russian market, he says.
- I want ordinary citizens of Western countries to listen to me too: they are now trying to convince you that all your hardships are due to Russia's hostile actions. That you have to pay for the fight against the mythical Russian threat from your own wallets. Everything is a lie!
Putin claims that the Western welfare state is torn apart by social, national, economic and ethnic differences. He therefore predicts that the "global dominance" of the Western world is coming to an end.
- The truth is that the current problems, which millions of people in the West face, are the result of how the ruling elites in their countries have acted for years. It is their mistakes, myopia and ambitions. These elites do not think about how to improve the lives of the citizens of the Western world. They are obsessed with their own interests and huge profits, says Vladimir Putin.
