A report from Sweden

The establishment, the media and politicians, for decades desperately tried to sell MEA immigration, but the war in Ukraine shows that that propaganda did not go home. No one really thought that the middle-aged men who were portrayed as "children" were real children. Or for that matter: if it is war, which adult men leave their wives and children in the war to travel to Europe?

The behavior of the MENA immigration to Sweden together with the behavior once they have entered the country (crime, constant demands, ingratitude, unwillingness to assimilate, etc.) has of course created an aversion to that immigration.

The explanation is simple
The simple reason for the big difference in the view of the Ukrainian refugees is probably based on three simple circumstances:

First of all, everyone sees that these are real refugees. These are real children. These are women. These are exactly the individuals that normally shaped societies and cultures protect first. Men put their family in safety. No one has sent their children and wives away unless there was a real war. This is the classic, the normal for those who have a western, traditional view of how things should work. "Women and children first" is a classic motto. This is happening now in reality and the European fraternal peoples are seeing this and it is creating empathy and a willingness to help.

Secondly , this is happening in our relative immediate area. Ukraine is certainly not a neighboring country, but it is relatively close with only one European country between us and them (Poland). This is the definition of helping those who are in our immediate area, a motto SD long persevered. Sweden also has historical ties with Ukraine . There is even a village called Old Swedish Village, founded by Estonian Swedes who emigrated there in the late 18th century.

Thirdly, which should not or should not be diminished, we are culturally relatively close to each other, although of course there are also differences between us. The willingness to receive or help people you recognize yourself in should not be diminished. "Equal children play best" is a well-known expression that does not come from nowhere.

Completely natural
Immigrants and left-wing debaters are now outraged at the different treatment that Ukrainian refugees now receive compared to MENA immigrants. This is because, as I said, they do not understand, and have never done, that all immigration is not the same. Not all cultures are the same. People want to be with those who are equal to oneself. It is a natural human behavior. Even for the left, even if they themselves try to imagine otherwise.

Even within one's own larger group, there are sub-groups: highly educated people tend to socialize more with other highly educated people. Those with higher incomes tend to socialize with others of similar income, or "class" as the socialists call it. No matter which group, or sub-group you look at, that pattern repeats itself.

This may be seen by the left as something bad or bad, but it is the opposite. By accepting the "equal children play best" principle, conflicts can be minimized. That is why a homogeneous nation-state works best to organize a society. A high degree of homogeneity lays the foundation for reduced conflict and an efficient society, although of course this is not the only factor (which Ukraine is ironically an example of - socialism is, as is well known, another factor that is catastrophic for a society).

For me, who throughout my life has been an opponent of mass immigration and who has seen Sweden abuse the term "refugee", I notice that it takes to use just that word. But these are real refugees. I saw it with my own eyes in place in Ukraine and Poland. I saw a people who have a lot in common with ours. A people who sent the most valuable they have for protection and security. It is an abysmal difference from immigration from far away. It is therefore not at all strange that Swedes show a popular commitment to this immigration, in contrast to that imposed by the elite.

Due to the tragic development in Ukraine, this has become quite obvious to many.
