Former immigration chief: The biggest threat to civil peace

FOREIGN. Third-world immigration to Europe is historically unparalleled, and those in power have only watched the destruction of the continent because of cowardice. The development must now be stopped immediately - in the count's time, according to the former head of France's intelligence service DGSE.

Pierre Brochand, who has been a frank ambassador in several different countries and chairman of the DGSE in the years 2002–2008, now speaks about immigration in a high-profile interview with Le Figaro.

- I believe that the type of immigration that we have been exposed to for half a century is unprecedented and unparalleled in our history. And honestly, I can not understand how free-thinking and enlightened people can still underestimate how serious the situation is, he says.

Brochand points to third world immigration and the widespread problems they have created in France as, if not the single, at least by far the greatest "threat to civil peace in our territory". He compares with developments in countries such as Lebanon and Yugoslavia.

- We have no other choice, if we really want to regain control of our demographics, than to implement a 180 degree course change. That is, we are sending a message, loud and clear, that France will no longer be a welcoming country for the foreseeable future, he tells Le Figaro.

However, it may already be too late to save the situation, states the DGSE chief. He notes that his combined experience makes him predict "a dark future, not to say a very dark future, for our children and grandchildren".

- All our rulers without exception, but also many of our countrymen, have preferred to look in a different direction. The former for cowardice, the latter for naivety, ruthlessness or ideological reasons, says Pierre Brochand.
