Before the invasion, a dollar cost 81 rubles. After the invasion, on March 10, the price had risen to as much as 138 rubles.

But now a dollar is at 82 rubles, ie at the same level as before the invasion.

A large part of the recovery came in connection with the announcement by Russian President Vladimir Putin that "unfriendly countries", such as EU countries, will be forced to pay for Russian energy in rubles.

Russian energy exports have remained broadly unchanged, while Russia imports less than before.
