"According to prosecutors, Lafey shot Brickley at least with a .22 rifle, breaking her jaw and leaving other facial injuries, then kicked and stomped on her for up to 11 minutes while “taunting” her, WZZM reported.
Brickley’s body was discovered a day later, buried under the snow in Maple Grove Township.
Andrew Lafey, 22, was convicted in a bench trial of all counts, including first-degree murder, torture and possession of a firearm by a felon, in the Feb. 16, 2021, death of Gracyn-Michael Kay-Candace Brickley.
After Brickley’s death, Lafey showed the snuff film to some friends and his father, who then turned him in to police."
