Phish have set July 12th as the release date for Evolve‚ their first studio album in over four years.Phishs 16th studio album follows the bands 20 set Sigma Oasis‚ and the 22 release of Mercy‚ guitarist/lead vocalist Trey Anastasio first solo acoustic album.I think Ive historically felt safer playing the guitar than I have walking down the street‚ offered Anastasio. When Im playing the guitar‚ I dont have to hide behind anything. Thats been my safe way of emoting over the years.Next week‚ Phish will launch a four-night run at the Sphere in Las Vegas‚ beginning April 18th.
