Bish family hoping for answers as wait for DNA test results drags on

"For Heather Bish, it's been a painful, decades-long journey after a horrible crime. Her 16-year-old sister Molly vanished from her lifeguard shift in Warren on June 27, 2000. Her remains were found years later in the woods a few miles away.
There have been many persons of interest but last year- a major break in the case- the Worcester district attorney named convicted sex offender Frank Sumner as the suspect in Molly's murder. He's a convicted rapist who died in 2016. His remains were cremated. His DNA was never entered into the CODIS system that's often used to link suspects to crimes.
5 Investigates first reported that state police assigned to the Worcester County DA's office are working with DNA from Sumner's son, who's doing time in an Ohio prison. Sources tell us that investigators are testing that DNA against evidence from the crime scenes connected to Molly's murder."
