Bearded trans man got his arm broken in the ladies' room

DOMESTIC. The so-called trans person and amateur boxer Andi Malm is suspected of having been severely beaten by guards at the nightclub Babel in Malmö. It reports Sydsvenskan.

Andi Malm, 37, visited the nightclub Babel last Saturday night.

When Malm was to go to the toilet, the staff explained that it was a ladies' toilet and that Malm was not allowed to go in there, writes Sydsvenskan.

But the 37-year-old did it anyway. Then the guards were called, and Andi Malm was pulled out of the toilet and taken to a secluded space outside the club. There, Malm states that he was beaten by the guards, who are said to have explained that Malm was a man and would not go to the ladies' toilet.

Then the police came to the scene and took over, whereupon Andi Malm was taken to hospital where it was found that the 37-year-old's left arm had been broken in several places.

The police have started an investigation into abuse and unlawful discrimination of Andi Malm. However, the guards tell Sydsvenskan that they have not done anything wrong. Babel owner Simon Ohlsson writes in an email to the newspaper that it is "clear that the experiences of what has happened are very different".
