Kittie’s Comeback Album To Drop In June

“Fire,” Kittie’s seventh studio album, will be released on June 21st. It will be the band’s first album in 13 years – since the release of “I’ve Failed You” (’11). For over a decade the band was on a hiatus due to rising costs associated with touring/recording and the suicide death of bassist Trish Doan in ’17. They ended their hiatus in early ’22, with bassist Ivy Jenkins returning to the lineup. Kittie appeared at festivals before unleashing, “Eyes Wide Open,” which dropped last February. “Fire” also includes “Vultures” and “We Are Shadows.” “It feels like something deeper than fate that’s brought us together again, allowing us to create something fearless and magical,” explained vocalist/guitarist Morgan Lander. “We’ve worked incredibly hard over the past year and surrounded ourselves with the ultimate dream team to make this album a reality.” “Fire” Tracks: 01. Fire02. I Still Wear This Crown03. Falter04. Vultures05. We Are Shadows06. Wound07. One Foot In The Grave08. Are You Entertained09. Grime10. Eyes Wide Open Kittie has also announced a headlining North American Tour that will launch in July. “We are looking forward to playing some set list staples and bringing back some songs that we haven’t played live in decades,” wrote Kittie in a press release.
