Creed’s Scott Stapp in “Reagan” Movie

The movie “Reagan,” which features Creed vocalist Scott Stapp as Frank Sinatra, will be in U.S. theaters August 30th. As the title implies, the film details the life and career of late U.S. President Ronald Reagan, with Dennis Quaid in the title role. However, it seems the Sinatra role should have gone to Stapp’s guitarist bandmate Mark Tremonti, since he released a Sinatra tribute album two years ago. Reagan, a former actor, pitchman and governor of California, beat Jimmy Carter for the presidency in ’80 proclaiming it was “morning in America. He survived an assassination attempt and a major scandal (Iran Contra) but is credited with playing a leading role in ending the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union. ### The post Creed’s Scott Stapp in “Reagan” Movie appeared first on RockinTown.
