Peter Frampton will receive the annual Les Paul Spirit Award on June 9th during a private event at the Gibson Garage in Nashville. Following stints with The Herd and Humble Pie, Frampton released his breakthrough fifth solo album “Frampton Comes Alive.” The 1976 set spawned several hits (“Show Me The Way,” “Baby, I Love Your Way” “Do You Feel Like We Do”) and went 8x platinum.   The Les Paul Foundation’s mission is to honor and share the life, spirit and legacy of pioneering guitarist, Les Paul.
