The turnout this year broke all imaginable records in the electoral district Tullingeskog in Botkyrka municipality. A full 108 percent of those entitled to vote voted.

In Tullingeskog in Botkyrka municipality south of Stockholm, there are more people who have voted in the parliamentary election than there are eligible voters in the electoral district. This is shown by the Norwegian Electoral Authority's preliminary figures.

- We have no idea what it could be. We don't understand it. I don't have a good answer for you. This must be checked in the final vote count, says Lars-Göran Liljedahl (s), chairman of the Electoral Board in Botkyrka to Svenska dagbladet.

The Social Democrats more than twice as large
The Social Democrats received 207 parliamentary votes in Tullingeskog in the 2018 election, which corresponded to 22.35 percent. In this year's election, the same party received 440 votes, more than twice as many, or 38.5 percent of the votes.

Therefore, there are suspicions that it is the Social Democrats who have received too many votes in the vote count. It is unclear what the error is due to and whether it will be corrected during the county administrative board's final vote count. According to the Electoral Authority's figures, 107.9 percent of those eligible to vote in the district have voted, or 74 more than there are voters.

In the 2018 election, the Green Party received twice as many votes as it would have in a district in Tyresö. The error was never corrected, and the MP was allowed to keep the incorrect votes because the error was discovered too late.
