Karen Louise Wilson was last seen on March 27, 1985. A 22-year-old senior at SUNY Albany, Karen was seen leaving a tanning salon in Albany on Central Avenue at around 7:20 pm. Three separate witnesses would come forward with statements that they had seen a person matching Karen's description walking down Fuller Road. One of the witnesses was able to give a description that led to a composite sketch of a young man said to have approached her near the intersection of Fuller Road and Washington Avenue. 39 years later, there are still no answers to what happened to Karen Wilson.
At the time of her disappearance, Karen was 5'03'' and 114 lbs. She had brown eye and brown hair. She was last seen wearing faded blue Levi’s jeans, a light blue short-sleeved Izod golf shirt, a cream-colored women’s raincoat, white sneakers, a fourteen-karat gold ring with a blue zircon, and a Seiko watch with a black face. She was carrying a gray cloth pocketbook and may have also been carrying a blue knapsack.
