Gojira performed at the Olympics opening ceremony in Paris on 7/26. Their appearance consisted of an “original” collaboration with opera singer Marina Viotti, who has “experimented with Jazz, Gospel and Heavy Metal” Gojira, a French Progressive Metal band, is considered a standard-bearer for bringing French Rock to an international audience.  The band’s most recent album, “Fortitude,” went to #1 on Billboard’s Top Albums chart in ’21. ### The post Gojira Perform During Olympics Opening Ceremonies appeared first on RockinTown.
