DOMESTIC. Ale municipality Västra Götaland County wants to invest in getting immigrants to go home to the third world. This arouses anger and concern, reports Göteborgs-Posten.

- My stomach clenched when I heard it, says Aida Karimli (C), Turkish and deputy in the council, to GP.

After the election last fall, Ale municipality is governed by the Moderates together with SD, KD and the local party Framtid i Ale.

The parties have agreed to calculate what immigration really costs and campaign to get more immigrants to go home.

Another immigrant politician, Emine Khosravi (S), claims to have had a "lump in the stomach" when the proposals were voted through.

SD's group leader Robert Jansson emphasizes, however, that the return migration should be "voluntary".

Another immigrant GP has spoken to, the Afghan Fereshta Khawari, comments on the decision as follows:

- It's not funny. It feels telling.
