AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT gaming GPU shown off in new teaser images by PowerColor

Thanks to Taiwanese manufacturer PowerColor, we now have our first glimpse at what the next-gen AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT might look like. These teased images of the future flagship card from AMD come just days before we expect to hear an official announcement from the chip maker at the CES 2025 trade show, with this particularly fiendish card expected to join PowerColor’s red-themed Red Devil GPU series. This new flagship RDNA 4 graphics card from AMD will be its best attempt to break through the dominance that Nvidia has held over the GPU market since producing the best graphics cards of recent years. There’s potential to be excited, too, with recent rumors suggesting that it might offer ray tracing performance that matches the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, despite speculation earlier this year that AMD was abandoning high-end Radeon GPUs completely.
