AMD has finally officially unvieled its incredible new gaming laptop CPU, the AMD Ryzen AI Max. Long rumored using the codename Strix Halo, the new CPU contains a colossal integrated GPU that, at least on paper, is more powerful than the one in the PS5 and has more than double the GPU performance of the Intel Core Ultra 9 288V. The new AMD CPU has just been unveiled at CES, and will no doubt be finding its way into the best gaming laptop designs of the world will also contain a massive 16 CPU cores, along with an NPU capable of 50TOPs for AI processing, for massive overall compute power, all from a single piece of silicon.
