Mysterious Orange UFO Spotted Near U.S. Army Base
A glowing orange object cruising silently through the night sky near the U.S. Army’s Fort Campbell base, straddling the Tennessee-Kentucky border.
The sighting (see video below), which occurred just after midnight on New Year’s Day in Clarksville, Tennessee, has reignited questions about the nature of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) and mysterious drones increasingly reported worldwide.
The video, posted to Reddit alongside a detailed eyewitness account, shows what appears to be a luminous, oval-shaped craft moving at a steady pace.
According to the author who shared the footage, their father—an Army veteran with nearly three decades of experience—was outside enjoying fireworks when he noticed the unusual object.
The witness, who was summoned outside to observe, initially thought the orange light might be a hobbyist drone capturing New Year’s Eve festivities. However, upon closer inspection, they noted, “The apparent altitude and distance at which it was flying made me second-guess that assumption.”
Despite years of familiarity with the planes and helicopters routinely flying over Fort Campbell, he admitted to being baffled by the strange sighting.
This event follows a string of reports about unexplained drone-like objects over U.S. airspace, part of a broader pattern of similar sightings worldwide.
In December alone, sightings of UAPs—or unidentified aerial vehicles—were reported in states as far-flung as Arizona and Pennsylvania, as well as internationally, from rural England to South America.
These objects, often described as maneuvering with an agility that far exceeds current drone technology, have fueled speculation about their origin—whether foreign surveillance, advanced domestic experiments, or something even more extraordinary.
