Decades ago, most television and movie producers were more concerned with amusing and entertaining their audiences rather than forwarding any kind of an agenda. In fact, before the 1980s and 90s, many television shows and movies had moral lessons incorporated into them and in some cases, even faith-based themes and elements would also be included.
