DOMESTIC. The Tidö parties open an investigation to give the Armed Forces the right to deploy - and use violence - against the civilian population.

"The investigation is given a broad mandate to review all types of support – even those that may include measures against individuals, for example with surveillance tasks that may involve the use of violence or coercion."

So write the governing parties and the Sweden Democrats in a debate article in Dagens Nyheter.

As arguments for the plan, gang crime and the poor security policy situation are cited.
