In 72 hours, all of the hostages are set to be released after Hamas agreed to that portion of Trump’s 21-point Gaza plan. They want to negotiate on the other points. However, treachery is nearly synonymous with Hamas. So will this be the end of the war in Gaza? Will Israel soon be safe from massacres like October 7?
President Trump issued an ultimatum that if they didn’t agree to the Gaza plan by Sunday at 6pm, all Hamas members would be “hunted down and killed.” And so, Hamas agreed to parts of the Trump Gaza plan.
The terrorist organization Hamas on Friday said that it is ready to release all Israeli hostages and discuss President Donald Trump’s proposed peace agreement.
The statement comes after Trump gave Hamas a Sunday deadline to agree to the terms of his peace deal.
Hamas also signaled an agreement to give up power in the Gaza Strip as a way to end its war with Israel, according to the Associated Press. Israel has already agreed to the proposed peace plan.
Hamas said in a statement reported by NBC News that the group “affirms its readiness to immediately enter into negotiations through the mediators to discuss the details of this agreement. The movement also renews its agreement to hand over the administration of the Gaza Strip to a Palestinian body of independents (technocrats), based on Palestinian national consensus and Arab and Islamic support.”
Trump warned the group earlier Friday that if it did not agree to his terms, then Israel had the full support of his administration to “finish the job of destroying the threat of Hamas.” Just the News
Does this mean they caved? Pardon my skepticism.

Reading the above Hamas statement reveals several things that neither President Trump nor Benjamin Netanyahu will likely support. Like leaving Hamas in Gaza to participate “fully.” Or that statement of “genocide.” The whole reason for Israel’s entry into the Gaza strip was to ensure that the terror group could not inflict another massacre of Israeli citizens.
Negotiating with a terrorist organization is a slippery slope. The Trump Gaza deal gives them 72 hours to release all hostages, alive and dead. Then the ‘negotiations.’
