Minnesota's Democrats Endorse Storming Church and Harassing Ordinary Minnesotans

Minnesota Democrats endorse disruptive protests against ICE and ordinary citizens.

There's a word for this kind of "protest"—terrorism.

In most, but not all, of these terroristic acts, nobody gets seriously hurt, but the goal is to ensure that the ordinary course of life cannot be enjoyed due to constant threats and disruptions.

There have been overt acts of violence—riots and stormings of hotels, mass attacks on people in cars, and even beating one counter-protester into unconsciousness—most of the terrorism comes in the form of intimidation, threats of violence, and randomly stopping people in the streets to demand proof they are not ICE.

People have been stalked, employees of hotels threatened, and restaurants have been challenged to poison agents. Agents have crowds banging pots and pans and blowing whistles at night to prevent their ability to sleep, and, famously, churchgoers have had their worship service invaded.

The goal is to frighten, intimidate, make life hell, and in some cases, actually harm people. And it is our top political and government leadership who are egging it on, or worse.

Don Lemon, unconsciously, put it best in describing why this amounts to a campaign of low-level terrorism or grey-zone warfare:

First Amendment speech is, in fact, not about "traumatizing" people. It exists to persuade. To influence through speech. Not to make young children shiver and cry in fear.

Some of our political leaders have remained silent on the church invasion, some have slyly endorsed it, and some have outright endorsed it and called for more.

As the mob mentality has gotten completely out of control, Minnesota's DFL politicians are doubling down on encouraging the violence and terrorism. They are very happy that this is happening, and want to see a lot more of it. They are not appalled or trying to calm down the situation. Their goal is to escalate until they get their way.

Leigh Finke is a Minnesota state legislator, a friend of the governor and lieutenant governor, and a transgender rising star in the Democratic Farmer-Labor Party here (the Democrats).

He is calling for more church invasions, just as our other politicians are calling for and even organizing the ICE Watch harassment and assaults.

The Minnesota Nurses Association, another major ally of the Democrats and the governor, is conducting protest trainings with the radical SEIU on how to protest and impede ICE in health care settings, whatever that means.

The point is to up the sense of anxiety and danger, making life as unlivable as possible, not just for the targets of their ire, but for everybody.

I spoke with the mother of a federal agent from the West Coast whose daughter has deployed to Minneapolis for a month. She said her daughter was followed, afraid to eat in a restaurant, and harassed for doing her job.

I also heard a funny story about how ICE dealt with one person who had been leading a caravan impeding their work. When the day was done, ICE followed that person around to their home, and the person went ballistic.

How do you like it?

No idea if that story was true or not, but it is a vivid example of just how intimidating these tactics can be. A person who spent their entire day harassing federal agents suddenly feels anxiety and terrorized when she is followed.

It is difficult to overstate how deeply intertwined the protesters committing crimes are with the entire Democratic Party establishment here. They work together. Some legislators actually participate in or lead the efforts. They are cheering on felonies.

The goal is the chaos you see. They want a confrontation.

As Walz says, they are at war with the federal government. A stealth secession.

Unbelievably, exactly that TURNED OUT TO BE TRUE - per not ICE but all of DHS (below) and a records search.

The eagerness of liberals and leftists to ride for the very worst people alive really does merit more study.

Editor's note: If we thought our job in pushing back against the Academia/media/Democrat censorship complex was over with the election, think again. This is going to be a long fight.
