The United Nations was created on October 24, 1945, and signed by 50 countries in June of that year. Its stated purpose was to bring peace, human rights, sustainable development and security to its member nations. That purpose has literally become laughable. They’ve put countries like Iran and Sudan on the “human rights” council.

By 1975, they slid into full-on antisemitism with Resolution 3379, which called “Zionism” racist and discriminatory. Though the resolution was repealed in 1991, anti-Jewish sentiment is riddled throughout the organization. With the United States withdrawing from 66 programs and several other countries failing to pay their “obligations” it appears the UN is on its last legs.

The UN’s financial crisis is not a tragedy. It is a consequence.
When an institution dedicates disproportionate energy to condemning Israel while giving cover to authoritarian regimes, credibility evaporates. Moral inversion is expensive. Eventually the bill comes due.

The League of Nations expelled Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, & the Japanese junta. The UN has only kicked out Taiwan, to make room for Mao’s China. The League is universally admitted to have been a pathetic failure. What does that make the UN, which won’t even expel Iran or Russia? @Curculiunculus

To add to the ‘Stupidocracy’ of the UN, at least one person is planning on filing a “human rights” complaint with them over the deaths of Alex Pretti, and Renee Good.

It’s time the UN was pitched into the dustbin of history. Their ineffectiveness is the stuff of legend at this point.
