The theories are endless over the abduction of Nancy Guthrie from her home in Tucson, Arizona. From the “ransom demands” to the cartels, everyone has a theory. On February 9, the FBI released digital images from the damaged porch camera that appear to show an armed, masked man on her front porch.

“Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost.” Director Kash Patel

The surveillance images were recovered from digital information that was lost when the Nest camera was ripped from the home. X users had many takes on the photos, from “it’s a woman with a fake mustache” to a cartel member based on the way the person is wearing the gun. However, it could simply be someone who is unfamiliar with the way a gun should be carried. As to whether it’s a man or a woman, it’s likely a man based on build, and how Nancy Guthrie was taken from the home. Family stated she was unable to walk without assistance for more than 50 feet. The blood drops on her front porch were also a serious issue.

More questions? Was she taken with or without her medications? Home invasion gone wrong? What about her cane? And no, the suspect is not wearing a boxing glove – they are thick gloves, but do not appear to be the kind used in boxing. The gloves in the photo have fingers.

Is Nancy Guthrie still alive? Hopefully with these new images, law enforcement will find her.
