There are times when a story breaks in the news that puts the truth on full display and destroys any preset narrative of the Deep State media. The mainstream news media sources around the world won’t report on what men of Islamic fundamentalism really think of women but a recent viral post went on full display exposing the entire issue of how men of Islam are taught to treat women.

The video at the top of this article is of an Iranian imam (preacher) delivering a religious teaching saying, “Women are animals created by Allah to be used by men.”

The Iranian women’s football team (The Lionesses) arrived in Australia to play in the Asian Women’s Cup before the United States and Israel attacked Iran on February 28. Thereafter they were knocked out of the tournament that first March weekend without scoring any goals. One can imagine they were not really focused on their sport as much as their families in their homeland under attack. This might have gotten them into some trouble returning to Iran but losing without scoring was the least of their problems.

After their first game March 2 they stayed silent during their national anthem in what was seen by some as an expression of protest and by others an expression of mourning. No matter the truth, the women were immediately branded “traitors” on Iranian state television. Thereafter they did sing their national anthem at their two subsequent games.

The women did not release a public statement but did indicate they feared for their lives after this event. As a result, 5 of the 7 team members sought humanitarian asylum to remain behind in Australia rather than return home to an uncertain future.

CONCLUSION:

Members of Australia’s public embraced these lady footballers to help them by protesting and stopping a tour bus from leaving with them on board. President Donald Trump said they would be welcome in America as a result of their fears and treatment.

Most of the people of the world would not approve of such treatment of women, much less professional athletes. Also, any country to submit their failed sports athletes to torcher or death should be wiped from the face of the earth. In sports it is part skill but also part luck (some call it destiny). Anybody who has played sports at a high level knows this. There are some things that just seem beyond your control, even when you are at the top of your game. Sometimes game officials can make bad calls which can throw a game to one team or another. To be blunt, there are a lot of variables in a sports event that can determine the outcome of a game.

My heart aches for these Iranian female footballers. I cannot imagine what it would be like trying to play a game not knowing if my family was safe at home.

Our news media needs to do a better job of reporting the news accurately. Part of their responsibility is education of the public. I have had the pleasure of knowing some very dear Muslim and Jewish people I was proud to call my friends. On both sides of this issue they came to America to escape the never ending violence the “hard liners” want to continue in the Middle East. To explain these people in a reference people of other faiths can understand; My friends were not practicing or devout Muslims or Jews or you could say they practiced their faith without following the hardliner religious leaders of their faiths who interjected their political theology from their positions of power in their respective mosques or synagogues.
