Joe Kent was the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center. He suddenly resigned, claiming that Iran did not pose an “imminent threat” and that the President was bowing to pressure from the Israeli lobby. But wait…as the MSM, Democrats, and other assorted liberal fools ran with the idea, turns out he was under investigation prior to the resignation for possibly leaking sensitive information.

Think about it: Trump bowing to pressure from anyone, let alone another government is ludicrous. Trump does his own thing. Yes, he listens but makes up his own mind. But the real story is what has come to light about Kent himself:

There’s more to the Joe Kent story than meets the eye. According to friends, apparently, Joe leaked intelligence under the nose of the Secretary of War. As a result, his access to classified information was removed several weeks ago. He’s not stepping down due to his allegiance to integrity, he’s being forced to leave.@BuzzPatterson

Joe Kent’s first wife Shannon was killed in an ISIS bombing in Syria in 2019. His “conversion” to the Republican side of things seemed relatively recent. But if it is true that he was leaking sensitive information, he can still be prosecuted.

“I read probably a lot more intelligence than he did, because they don’t have a law enforcement function [at] the National Counterterrorism Center. They’re an analytical clearinghouse. They’re valuable. However, I had access to just about everything, and how you could come to the conclusion that the Israelis did it and there was no imminent threat here… really?”

Bongino listed reasons the regime posed a threat, including anti-ship ballistic missiles, its drone program, enriched nuclear material and its “death to America” chants.

So it appears that Joe Kent is something other than what he seems.
