Danish Social Democrat had child sex doll at home

Foreign Affairs. Denmark's former Minister of Industry and Trade Henrik Sass Larsen – one of the absolute key figures within the Danish Social Democrats – has been charged with possession of child pornography. He is also suspected of possessing a prohibited child sex doll.

Denmark's former Minister of Economic Affairs and senior Social Democrat Henrik Sass Larsen has been charged with possession of material depicting child sexual abuse. He is also suspected of possessing a prohibited child sex doll, reports Berlingske.

The indictment concerns over 6,200 images and 2,200 videos of gross child abuse. But the former minister completely denies any wrongdoing.

– I have never ever harmed a child, he says in a statement according to Berlingske.

Previously, Sass Larsen has tried to keep his name secret in the legal process, but now his lawyer has announced that he will no longer request a name ban.

The case is causing a stir in Denmark, where Sass Larsen previously held a central role in the government and within the Social Democrats.
